Piedmont — Schiemann Guitars

The Piedmont is built for players who want something familiar enough to feel like home, but different enough to make them stop and listen.

At its heart is a semi-hollow mahogany body, giving the Piedmont a warm, resonant character while keeping the feel and response of a solid electric guitar. The body is paired with a one-piece, quartersawn tempered figured neck, shaped for stability and a comfortable playing experience. A compound 9.5"–16" fingerboard radius provides a familiar feel in the lower positions while opening up as you move toward the upper frets.

The pickup configuration is where the Piedmont really comes alive. Two hand-wound Schiemann Guitars P-90s occupy the neck and middle positions, delivering everything from warm, woody cleans to gritty, aggressive overdrive. At the bridge is a Schiemann hand-wound Tele-style pickup, adding the bite, snap, and clarity you expect from a great Tele bridge pickup. Together, they give the Piedmont a remarkably wide tonal range without sacrificing its personality.

A custom floral pickguard adds a little irreverence to the otherwise classic design, while the Descendant vibrato gives the guitar another dimension of expression—from subtle pitch movement to more pronounced vibrato effects.

Every part of the Piedmont is chosen with the same goal: make a guitar that feels inspiring to pick up and rewarding to play. It's not built to perfectly imitate another guitar. It's built to be its own thing.

Semi-hollow mahogany body. One-piece quartersawn tempered figured neck. Compound 9.5"–16" radius. Hand-wound Schiemann P-90s. Hand-wound Tele-style bridge pickup. Custom floral pickguard. Descendant vibrato.

The Piedmont is a familiar idea, rebuilt from the ground up.
