Amarillo - Barncaster

$2,250.00

The Amarillo is more than just a guitar—it’s a piece of history built for the stage. Crafted from reclaimed pine salvaged from a tobacco farm in Kipling, NC, this guitar has a voice and resonance all its own. Paired with a boutique neck and a killer pickup combo, the Amarillo is ready for players who want character, versatility, and serious tone.

Premium Tonewoods & Feel

  • Reclaimed pine body – Lightweight, resonant, and full of character. The aged pine adds warmth and a unique responsiveness you won’t find in modern cuts.

  • Quarter-sawn tempered curly maple neck & fretboard – Rock-solid stability, with a smooth playing surface and gorgeous figuring. Tempering brings extra resonance and that “played-in” feel right out of the box.

Pickups That Work as Hard as You Do

  • Lollar Regal Wide Range Humbucker (neck) – Big, open, and articulate. Perfect for warm cleans, jazzy chords, and punchy driven tones without losing clarity.

  • Lollar J Street Tele pickup (bridge) – Classic Tele bite with extra punch. Cuts through a mix with authority, great for twang, funk, or rock edge.

  • Together, this pairing covers everything from lush cleans to gritty rock tones, giving you endless versatility in a simple layout.

Why Players Love It

The Amarillo is lightweight, resonant, and full of mojo. The reclaimed pine sings acoustically, while the boutique Lollars give you a massive tonal palette. Add in the comfort and stability of a quarter-sawn curly maple neck, and you’ve got a guitar that feels as inspiring at home as it does on stage.
